Neyyar Wildlife Sanctuary is a renowned protected area located in the southern state of Kerala, India. Situated near the Neyyar Dam, it spans an area of approximately 128 square kilometers. Additionally, the sanctuary houses the Neyyar Rehabilitation Center for Sloth Bears, where rescued and injured bears are rehabilitated before being released back into the wild. This center plays a crucial role in conservation efforts and provides educational insights into wildlife conservation.

To enhance visitors’ understanding of the sanctuary’s biodiversity, the Neyyar Dam Information Centre offers educational exhibits and interactive displays about the flora, fauna, and conservation initiatives within the sanctuary.
